Holding handsTrue forgiveness – the kind that allows the spirit to rest easy – is not conditional; it is absolute, rooted in something bigger than each of us.

True forgiveness is not, “I will forgive if he does X.”  That’s not forgiveness, it’s a transaction.

True forgiveness is just the opposite. It is simple and one- directional:  I will forgive, regardless, because we are all human.”
