Monday Morning Rock Out!

Painted tin-can starburstHappy Monday! Are you ready to start focusing on what is possible? Well, let’s go!

This week’s Rock Out is dedicated to those who tell us,“Our community will never value artists the way we value business leaders. Get real!”

It is dedicated to those who say, “That’s all well and good, but we don’t have the luxury to dream about an equitable, compassionate world. We need to focus on what’s really possible.”

It is dedicated to all who call us Pollyannas for believing the world can be a vibrant, healthy, compassionate, resilient place, filled with communities that are each vibrant, healthy, compassionate and resilient themselves.

It is for those who tell us such “pipe dreams” are impossible.

Impossible? Perhaps. Or perhaps not…

So are you willing to take that chance?

As you head out into your week, every time you face the million reasons something cannot be done, ask yourself:

• What is the highest potential for this effort I am about to undertake? What is possible?
• What would I reach for, if I knew I could not fail?
• What result do I want to hold myself accountable for aiming at?

Now take that first step. And then the next step. And the one after that. Every small step in the right direction brings us closer to creating the world we want for our grandkids and their grandkids.

Like Kealoha, we are all “from a long line of impossibilities.” But unless something is scientifically impossible, it is absolutely possible.

So let’s take that chance. Let’s get out there and make it happen!

Have a great Monday and a great week, all!

With many thanks to Bill Musick, a recent grad of our Pollyanna-Principled Consultants Immersion Course, for sharing Kealoha’s work with us!
