Your blog post was an inspiring way to begin the week. Thank you for this poignant reminder of our interconnectedness and the power of love.

Hildy: I think Polyanna Principle #2 is an apt addition to your message today: "Each and every one of us is creating the future, every day, whether we do so consciously or not." Linking arms with someone today (ie. checking in with our assumptions about the motivations of others, gratiously receiving feedback about our efforts and challenging ourselves to retain a positive outlook about with those with whom we disagree, etc.) and seeing ourselves in them is a substantial contribution to creating healthy and vibrant communities for tomorrow.

Thank you for your contribution to rendering the invisible visible.

My faith - the faith I grew up in - teaches that the greatest law is love. Yet, I feel chained to the anvil of some of the rules or precepts of this same faith that speaks against the expressions of love in the video. Dragging that weight around is very difficult at times. You would think that in 64 years of living, I would have freed myself from these shackles. I believe in this love, but I don't.I believe. Help my unbelief! Talk about cognitive dissonance. Maybe it's fear that somehow breaking the chains will somehow cause me to drift from all the good expessions of my faith. Maybe I need to remind myself of another truism - perfect love cast out fear. I still have time to get this right. Thanks Hildy for sharing what should be an obvious and simple truth.

Thank you for making my Monday morning and reminding me why my relationship of 23 years matters! Yes, we need each other. It's time to stand shoulder to shoulder, arm in arm, hand in hand and walk forward as we believe that Love Is All We Need!
