It’s Monday, the start of another week where anything is possible.
But this is not just any normal potential-filled Monday. This Monday kicks off a week packed with activities to celebrate the launch of The Pollyanna Principles!
We are launching much more than just a book this week. We are launching a movement to change the way this sector does its work. This is the day we invite everyone to change the work we all do, to aim that work at creating extraordinary communities in a humane, vibrant, healthy and peaceful world.
For that reason, I hope you will indulge me as I do something I have never done in my two years of blogging. This week’s Rock Out is – well – you’ll see…
To those of you who have been on this ride with us for a while now, we could not be more grateful that we are all still working together to create amazing change in our world.
To those of you who are new to this work, welcome! There is much to be done, and all of it is possible, simply because it is not impossible.
The wonderful thing about our marching forward together to change the way our sector does its work is that we are all starting at much the same place. We all want our world to be healthier, more whole. We all want our communities’ organizations to also be healthier and more whole. And we are all committed to doing our part to make that happen. We are honored to be walking alongside you on this journey.
To kick off this week full of Community-Driven events, please take a moment to watch the rest of the video clips at YouTube. The entire 52 minute presentation is available for free there. (If you wish to purchase the presentation on DVD, to show to your board or community group, it is available here.)
We have a whole host of launch events planned for this week, to help kick off this effort. The events are posted here. We will look forward to seeing you at those events. As a start, we hope you will introduce yourself right here in the comments – it’s time we roll our sleeves up and get to know each other!
Have a great Monday and a great week, all!
If you are new to the Monday Morning Rock Out, you can find previous Rock Outs here (and don’t worry – none of them are videos of me!) enjoy!
